Reborn-One Hundred (RE/100)
In: Gunpla List | Reborn-One Hundred
Reborn-One Hundred (RE/100) is a line of Gunpla established in 2014 that featured certain Universal Century mobile suits in 1/100 scale, but separate from the Master Grade (MG) line as well as the discontinued 1/100 High Grade line. These kits are not as complex as the MG line, and while they share the same level of detail in their outward appearance, most of the RE/100 kits do not have a full inner frame. Those that do only feature a very simplified one.
With the RE/100 line, Bandai is trying to work a compromise wherein mobile suits that were either too large (the Nightingale), too expensive (such as the Gundam “Gerbera”), or too obscure (the Gundam Mk-III) to be released in MG form will at least be released in the 1/100 scale but remain cost-effective. With this, the RE/100 line is somewhere in-between the MG line and the regular 1/100 No-Grade line kits.
Reborn-One Hundred (2014-2019)
Following the reorganization of Bandai Namco Group, box covers of reissue and future release of kits from September 2018 onwards feature blue Bandai logo instead of the original red logo, while releases and reissues from mid-2022 onwards feature the Bandai Namco logo on the upper right corner.
